Sweet treats for Easter? Try these family films

Mmm… delicious entertainment

If there’s one thing we love more than stuffing our faces with egg-shaped chocolate, it’s spoiling you with a feast of family friendly films.

So, here’s what we’ll be showing over the Easter holidays to keep you and the little ones thoroughly entertained. No extra sugar required.

KUNG FU PANDA 4 - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?

Po and his massive appetite are back for a fourth animated adventure, and this time, the only thing standing in the way of peace is an extremely powerful, shape-shifting chameleon sorceress. Should be easy, right?

Why they’ll love it

It’s Kung Fu Panda. The fourth one. If they don’t already love the franchise by now, the mere sight of a kung fu wielding panda (who occasionally farts) is bound to win them over.

Why you’ll love it

Because Jack Black.

GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?

Something strange is happening in New York City (again). And by strange, we mean an ancient evil is threatening to plunge us all into another ice age. Luckily, the new generation of Ghostbusters are still accepting calls.

Why they’ll love it

It’s every kid's dream to strap a working proton pack and go around lasering ghosts. Well, it was ours anyway.

Why you’ll love it

Original Ghostbusters Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson are back bustin’ full-time alongside newbies Paul Rudd, McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard. We figure a cast like that is bound to make you feel good.

LUCA (first time in cinemas) - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?

Showing on the big screen for the FIRST TIME EVER, this is Pixar’s colourful little story about a secret sea monster eating ice cream and riding scooters around the Italian riviera. Just lovely.

Why they’ll love it

Didn’t you just read the above? Pixar. Colourful. Sea monster. Ice cream. What more could they possibly want?

Why you’ll love it

Chances are you were a fan of the film when it first came out. But now you can finally experience it on the big screen. Also, did we mention it’s got a sea monster in it?

SOUL (first time in cinemas) - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?

Also showing on the big screen for the first time ever, this is Pixar’s vision of what would happen if you fell down a manhole and your soul got separated from your body. Well, there’s a bit more to it than that, but you get the idea.

Why they’ll love it

The Great Beyond (that’s where all the souls go) is yet another Pixar wonderland for your kids to lose themselves. Not to mention, the souls themselves are kind of adorable.

Why you’ll love it

If we’re being honest, the overall theme of the afterlife probably caters to an adult audience more than anyone else. Typical Pixar, aye.

MARY POPPINS (60 year anniversary)  - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?

60 years on and Mary Poppins hasn’t aged a day. Now, that could be because she’s clearly some sort of witch, or it’s because we’re bringing the original film back to the big screen.

Why they’ll love it

Imagine experiencing her magical ways for the first time. They’re mind is going to be blown when she starts pulling stuff out of her bottomless bag. And when her umbrella starts talking. And by, like, literally all of the classic song and dance routines.

Why you’ll love it

Nostalgia, nostalgia and nostalgia. Also, nostalgia.

… AND MINI MORNINGS!

Our ever-popular Mini Mornings are designed with the littluns – and their grown-ups (that’s you!) – in mind. For these special screenings, we turn down the sound and whack up the comfort, giving everyone a couple of hours of much-needed escapism and relaxation. And this Easter, you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to pre-school friendly films.

Migration, Wonka and Wish are here to make your Mini Mornings feel… Well, not so mini.
