Look out, here comes all eight Spider-Man films

Eight legs, eight films. Coincidence? We think not

With great entertainment comes great responsibility to visit your local Vue. That’s how the line goes, doesn’t it? Or something like that. But yes, you’ll definitely want to swing by in August and September, because all eight live-action Spider-Man films are coming back to the big screen!

Whether you’re a sucker for Sam Raimi’s original trilogy starring Tobey Maguire, a mega fan of Andrew Garfield’s amazing adventures, or simply want to revisit the more recent MCU outings with Mr. Tom Holland, you’ll soon have a chance

The Spider-Man films are returning to the big screen for Sony 100, the company’s centenary celebration, and here is an accurate representation of how we feel about that:

When are all eight Spider-Man films coming back to the big screen?
We’ll be kicking things off with Sam Raimi’s groundbreaking original trilogy, with the first installment arriving on Friday, 2 August. Released in 2002 (we’re so old), Maguire’s first outing as the spandex-clad spider person saw him take on Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and create loads of excellent memes in the process.

A week later, on Friday, 9 August, we’ll be showing Spider-Man 2 – the one with Alfred Molina’s Doctor Otto Octavius (aka Doc Ock). You know, the guy with the really cool sunglasses. And multiple arms.

As if by chronological inevitability, 2007’s Spider-Man 3 will then return to the big screen on Friday, August 16. This time, Spidey takes on Harry Osborne (James Franco), a Venom-covered Eddie Brock (Topher Grace) AND Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) all at the same time, which hardly seems fair, does it?

Moving on to Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man movies, the first will drop on Friday, 23 August. Released in 2012, this reboot of the franchise saw Peter face off with The Lizard (Rhys Ifans) while also finding the time to strike up a romance with Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone). Who can blame him?

The following week, on Friday, 30 August, we’ll be showing The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in which our arachnid hero gets a bit of a shock from Jamie Foxx.

And then it’s time for the MCU entries, otherwise known as “the Tom Holland ones”. Spider-Man: Homecoming, also starring Zendaya and Michael Keaton, will be re-released on Friday, 6 September.

Then, on Friday, 13 September, Jake Gyllenhaal and fish bowl fans will get their fill as Spider-Man: Far From Home makes its way back onto the big screen.

And of course, our mega Spider-Man celebration will conclude with No Way Home, the one that (spoiler alert) brings all three live-action Peters together for a monumental, multi-verse mashup. You’ll have the chance to catch it on the big screen once again when it returns on Friday, 20 September.
